map sensor,, cranking??

hi trying to get to bottom of my hot start,, weird thing ive noticed,, when i crank engine the factory dash boost gauge reads slight positive like 1.5psi (my understanding is when cranking i should see vacuum)
Is this normall i can upload a video if you wanna see.

Cluster readings while cranking should be ignored. It's not to be used for diagnostics such as this. If you want to verify something related to the map sensor then you will need to use a multimeter while cranking to determine the vacuum reading if you don't have an ecu you can interface with to just tell you
