Map pocket removal

Anyone have the tool to take the map pocket out or know of a way to get it out easily? If you have the tool I’d like to rent it for a few days.

You need a 'Ford radio removal tool':

Any auto store should have one.

I just pulled mine out. No special tool needed. If you are going to be in SLO, let me know. I'll pull it out for you .

You can buy those "Ford" tools (metal hoops) in the link above at most O'Reilly's, Autozones etc. for <$8. Takes about 30 seconds to get mine out.

cut a coat hanger into two 8 inch pieces and bend them into shape, no need to buy anything. I did this when I replaced a radio in an 88 Ford, worked great.
I hate buying tools for one time use.
