Manuals and Temp Guage Question

Hi All;
Gotta say it is great to see a club for the best car in the world (that i can afford
I have learnt so much already looking at the posts, this group is great !

I was just wondering if anyone knows where i can download a PDF/online owner manual for my Gen3. I bought it recently, but it didnt have owner manuals (I had a look in the FAQ/ posts but didnt come across one...)

Also, i seem to be having a little concerned with my temp guage. I get the general idea that these may not be the best guuges on these cars (for descriptiveness) but my guage never really deviates from the centre/horizontal position. While it will zero out when the car is cold, it quickly gets up to centre/horizontal temp and never really deviates much, even if i drive the car for a long time and it would assumadly get hot? Should i be concerned?

Also, i was wondering if anyone has a picture of the sticker on the fusebox lid (driver side, inside the cabin). My fusebox has a sticker on it to describe what fuses are in there - but its in Japanese, so i cant tell what fuses are what!! I found one for the Gen 2 in the faq, but not for the gen 3...

Thanks!!
Sco

Stock temp gauges aren't linear or even close to it. It's good you've never seen it above horizontal. Suggest you search on the subject - something like "temp gauge mod"

Welcome in RX7 community.

http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/ on the left side under 3rd generation go to "things to read" and you'll find the manual there.

The stock temp gauge it's just a stupid light. Get an aftermarket one or linerize the stock one. If you search you'll find instructions how to do it in this forum.

Ok, just trying searching first. You got reeeaaally lucky that it wasn't 10 replies telling you to search. You'll have a hard time coming up with a question that isn't easily answered by a search.

I think most add an aftermarket guage but I'm pretty sure I've seen threads here on linearization. There is also this:

G'day dave, i did get an inclination from some linearisation posts that the guage was a problem, but i didnt realise how big a problem it was till i read from the link that Sgtblue posted (thanks SgtBlue - great link!). I guess the question about the guage was me being a little paranoid and asking is it really that crap (apparently it is...). I just couldnt believe that it really doesnt move at all - till it is too late! Point noted though, ill be a little more careful when/what i post next.

I'm sorry, sco, but you are being completely too polite and agreeable for a new poster to the Forum.

We just can't have that around here.

Your punishment will be to go start a pointless argument with TurboJeff and tell him that he knows nothing about FD what so ever.

:-)

Welcome to the forum.

PS. Don't worry if you don't know who TurboJeff is. :-)
