manual steering anyone?
Alright, my motor is out for a rebuild and I have done the cleaning and what have you. Now I am going to go no power steering. Can anyone tell me how to do this.
I know that you nee to make or buy a tube for the rack so it wont hydro lock but where to where is this tube susposed to go?
I will try to take a pic of the rack so you can show me where. (is it between the two tubes going into the rack or is it buy where the steering input is)

removing the ps pump is easy.
just cut the lines and remove the pump. no need to lope the lines.
there is 100 times more room without the ps and ac
you can change plus so easy.
i can post pics of mine without ac or ps

i hope you reconsider and junk the power steering. just cut the 2 steering rack lines located near the center of he rack so you can loop them together w a rubber hose. (turn the steering all the way right and left and bleed most of the fluid from the rack thru the cut lines.) plug the 4 holes created when you removed the 2 lines to the pump and 2 lines to the rack. say goodby to front -end weight, say hello to a cooler engine compartment and road feel.
then move a bit further north so you can junk your a-c.
