man, I stripped my differential fill plug...

...and I already drained the fluid. What should/could I do? I'm planning to tow it to a shop tomorrow, is this a good idea?

I wouldn't tow that thing! The diff is still turning while being towed, and without oil I doubt it'd last long. How about putting a Helicoil in there (those are relatively easy to install)?

Maybe you could get it up on one of those flatbed trucks...

if they tow it from the rear, there shouldn't be any problems right?

That should be OK (at least for the diff). Then again, that thing has next to no ground clearance... but if they're careful they should be able to pull it off.

i think you need to flat bed it, towing from the back will scrape your front end even if its not lowered
