Making HVAC (climate controls etc..) Brighter?

I was curious has anyone modified the lighting for the HVAC Console? What i was hoping to do is replace the stock bulbs with a Red LED to make them a brighter darker orange/red. Does anyone know if there is a direct replacement for these bulbs? and also.. the headlamp and cruise control buttons on the gauge hood. These bulbs i already pulled out and are really really small, i cant find a part number for them or an LED that will directly replace them. Any help would be great thanks. Btw i did search, only stuff comes up are gauge mods only.

these bulbs cant be smaller than an LED?

if you wanted to use LED's though, you will prob have to wire up a circuit board to power them

theres a thread somewhere about making your own LED tail lights. and theres a more recent thread of a guy who used brighter bulbs in his cluster. might be another avenue. they might be of some help if you can find um

they are pretty small bulbs, here is a pic.

I dont see how we would need to put in a board to supply power considering LED take less power than standard bulbs.

I may be wrong tho, i am no electrician.
