Machine out exhaust manifold?

Ok I know this has probably been brought up before. I have searched and can't find anything. But heard when you go non-seq. you are suppose to have the exhuast manifold machined out, I think he was getting at having the waste gate ported. Is this true?

I beleive the waste gate porting is to fix the boost spikes after switching to parallel. Is it spike or creep? I think it's spiking. Anyhow, you could allways add a pop off valve to prevent overboost.

Actually, I think it's from adding a mid-pipe and not the parralel conversion. I don't feel like reading anymore tonight, so click below if you want to.
