M2 radiator, same as fluidyne?

Hi guys,

I'm getting ready to order a new radiator, and I was wondering if the M2 was identical to the fluidyne rad. I was gonna order a fluidyne rad from the rx7forum, but I am considering the M2 rad since they are about 30 minutes away.

So does anyone know if the M2 rad is actually a fluidyne with the M2 name?

thanks

Fluidyne fits & works great: get a fin straightener before installing it (you'll bend a few) + need to fab "walls" to keep the air going through it rather than around it.

M2 radiator is made by PWR, which is identical to the fluidyne.

NO the PWR Is NOT identical to Fluidine - They are very similar externally as they are both designed as drop in replacements for the stock rad. The Fluidyne is made here in the USA using propritary fin and tube technology for greater heat transfer efficency (I believe the tubes have internal turbulator fins), and the PWR is made in Australia w/ a different fin & tube design (and may or may not be as efficeint as a fluidyne idkfs)

thanks guys

I just wanted to know if the external design (ie mounting points) are the same as the fluidyne. I'm not to worried about the internal design differences. I'm guessing that the differences will be marginal, but either one is still better than stock.

I would consider the KOYO, but I always hear about 'fitment' problems. No one ever goes into the specifics of the KOYO fitment problems though. So far I have not heard of any problems with mounting/fitting of the Fluidyne in the stock location.

It doesn't get more detailed than this thread:
