LS1 swap in No Cali, Help!

Hope someone can help steer me in the right direction. I have a beautiful 1993 RX7 in near mint cond except for one thing; need a coolant seal! Major rebuild time, so I thought I might like to put in a V8. Looking for help with:
1. Someone in No Cali to just do it for me. or
2. Book or some other info on a step by step how-to so I can tackle it myself.
3. Tell me where to get a good kit for doing it
4. Any advice whatsoever on doing one, ie. best place to get motor, best motor to use, what can you keep in a stock RX7 and what gets tossed etc.

Anyone interested in a used 3rd gen engine that needs a coolant seal?

I have lots of time since this is not a daily driver. I can bide my time and read up on it before actually doing it. I'm not a mechanic but have found in life that with the right information there is no limit to what I can do.
