Lower Control Arm Removal

What is the best procedure to remove the front lower control arms? Mine are so damm on the wheel hub assembly that I cannot get a good angle to bang it out or else I am going to mess up my control arm for good...

I use this with good success. Don't use an air impact wrench and stand back. They usually pop off with a good amount of force.

Release the tie rod, then you can access the lower ball joint I've found. One good whack with a hefty hammer (I use a copper one) on the upright should shock it from the taper.

Just be prepared to replace the rubber dust boot if you use the separator. Striking the side of the knuckle with a hefty mallet always seems to work for me.

I have found the tines of the separator are thin enough to get between the dust boot and the knuckle and the pressure when separating is not on the boot nor ball joint so the dust boot is not damaged. Using a pickle fork though will damage the boot and possibly joint.
