Low Voltage issue

I hope you guys can help me here.

I recently bought a Hawker Odessey mini battery along with my Large SMIC. Shortly after installation I started noticing a that my Stereo sytem would shutdown spontaneously and then start-back up, sometimes when I hit the brakes, sometimes just when I'm crusing on the freeway. The car seems to drive fine w/o any issues.

I'm thinking that the mini battery isn't putting out enough juice to run my car and all my accessories:

Sony deck, Graphic EQ, 2 changers, PG AMP, 10" sub, 2 6x8's, 2 6.5" separates, BEL 980 radar detector, 55w foglights, upgraded piaa bulbs.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix the problem?

The battery is not running your car the alternater is , the battery starts the car then the alt takes over , unless the alt goes bad then the battery takes over untill it goes dead.

That's what I thought. I think I'll go get my alternator checked. Thanks.

Seems kind of weird that your electrical system would have this issue after the installation of the mini battery (making the assumption that your alternator was working fine) Have you tried swapping back your old battery for a test? I would agree that the alternator seems like the culprit here since it runs the electrical systems after startup but it just seems odd that it would die right around the same time as the battery swap.

No, I haven't tried swapping batteries. I can't with my large SMIC installed I can no longer fit the normal battery in the car. It may be that the battery is getting old. I have noticed that the problem is getting worse.
