low idle rpm after restart when engine warm.
For as long as I can remember... when restarting my engine after its been running for some time. Ex. filling up with gas or grabbing a pop somewhere.
The engine will idle a few hundred rpm lower than normal around 500 - 550 rpm untill I drive a block or two then it will idle normal 750 - 800 rpm again.
It's a street ported engine w/3mm seals from 2 yrs ago and runs really strong. What can be the cause of this?

On a hot start, your FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator) solenoid is designed to make your car run really rich on a hot start to avoid vapor lock (fuel vapor bubbles in your fuel lines). You ISC (Idle Speed Controller) should compensate for this, but it may be confused on how to idle an engine with a street port.
Do you still have your ISC and ACV?

ACV = Air Control Valve
It's details start on page F-115 of the FSM (Factory Service Manual).
It directs air from your airpump to either your exhaust ports or your main catalytic converter. It's basically for emissions purposes.

Hey Jonski,
I still have those but I have a midpipe and downpipe so the tube to the midpipe is just venting into the atmosphere.
I do seem to remember that a few years back: I was giving a choice of side seals when my engine builder put my engine togethor. Full metal ones as oppose to the rubber center factory ones... would this be the cause of the low idle?
My engine builder said something regarding the idle...about the seal but I can't remember.
