I managed to fix my alternator problem. But now, the car, in idle has a slight whistling sound. Under WOT, the car only gets 6psi max boost and sounds extremely bad (I've only done WOT twice and only long enough to get the larger turbo to come in). The car otherwise runs completely fine. I can drive it around fine, it just sounds like the turbos are leaking but I searched around and noticed that the whistling sound isn't likely to be the turbos. What should I check?

 

vaccum leak likely.

 

Check all your soft couplers, but especially the one at the top of the 'Y' pipe to crossover.

And both turbos are the same size.

 

I have a steady 16 for vacuum on my boost gauge on idle. Isn't that a healthy reading?

I'll be sure to check all those couplers when I get home today. And I thought one of the turbos were smaller so it would spool faster than the other?
