Unhappy low boost on hot days

hey there. im new to the rotary world but its fascinating. just wondering about a potential purchase. im looking at a 94 with 67k on it. the turbos boost 10-8-10 when the air is cool and humidity low but only 6-4-6 when its hot and humid. any ideas what the problem could be and if so what is involved in repairing this problem? grateful for any help in advance. thanks

6-4-6 sounds to me like your running solely on the wastegate spring. Might want to test out the wastegate solenoid first...could be malfunctioning during heat soak.

If you get the wastegate solenoid removed, you can test it before and after warming it in an oven.

Or buy a working used one from someone here and swap it in. For the cost of a car, it could be very worthwhile. If it indeed fixes it, it doesn't hurt to not share with the seller just how simple the fix was

I see little to no boost drop on even the hottest days, I would say get a boost controller manual or electronic rather than those silly pills they put in the car. Just my .02. (yes i have a boost controller manual)
