Question Loud squeeking/grinding noise coming from Pwr. steering/AC Pulleys ???

I have a squeaking/grinding noise coming from my Pwr. Steering/AC comp. pulley. It's coming from the top one. I know this bec. I sprayed it with some lithium grease and it immediately went away. However, it has come back only after a few hrs. (twice already). It sounds like the pulley itself is bad ie. Bearing or something. Can just this pulley be replaced...or the bearing...or what?? Any info. is appreciated.

BTW, the AC compressor is working perfect. Hopefully it's just a bad pulley.

Ted, maybe the belt isn't properly tensioned so it slipping, causing it to squeak. Just an idea. You ever going to put those shocks on your ride?

No, it's coming from the Pulley itself not the Belt. As for the shocks...the question should be is Darrel ever going to put the shocks on my car. I've been asking him forever !! Just that he has all of you guys cars over there so I decided to wait until he gets ya'll taken care of. I will ask him again. BTW, how do you know about the shocks??

I was asking Jack a bunch of questions about shocks, springs and basically anything you could imagine about the car. He told me you bought his previous set of shocks, so I told him I was going to ask you how you liked them. That is when he told me that you haven't put them on yet. I don't know a damn thing about suspension. I even did a search on the forum, and there are very few posts that are any help.

Even if the AC is working fine, the bearings inside could be going south.

Why don't you just remove the belt and manually turn each pulley?
