Question Loud Snapping noise when off?!

This is definitely a weird situation, but I'm not too worried, at least not for now, I'm just curious as to what it could be. After I shut my car off after running it for maybe 25 mins or 30 mins (time doesn't really matter), I'll let the car idle for a min or two to cool the turbos and then shut the car off and set the alarm. My alarm has a shock sensor that is set once activated. The problem here is that about 45 mins or 1 hr later, could even be sooner, the engine bay is still very hot, especially since the car is black in colour. Well, if I'm around the car, I can hear a loud snapping noise that can happen maybe like once or twice in that time. My alarm will go off for no reason, and the only time it would do this is if it determines that there is a constant noise or a shock to the car. What I'm wondering is if anyone knows what would cause loud noises or movements in the engine bay after the car has cooled down quite a bit. This has happened quite a few times in my garage or outside. The only way I know around this is to shut the shock sensor off, but I'm wondering if it's normal for the engine bay to make these noises. I can't figure out where exactly it's coming from because that would require me to stand around the open engine bay for about an hour since the noise will happen at random. Thanks a bunch for any responses, -Joe

Thats all the metel expanding and retracting. This happens on most cars and you have nothing to worry about.
