Question Lots of knocks and pings when i go over bumps....

I own a 93 R1 and just recently ive been hearing alot of sounds from the wheels when i run over bumps... they seem to stop a little bit when i hit the brakes.. just want a few opinion.. im thinking bushings or something like that..

bushings....that's gonna be the best guess and most effective way. No matter what condition your car is in, if its a 93, the rubber is gonna be dried out and pretty non-functional by now. My 94 is like that too. I'm not looking forward to spending so much money on the bushing kits, but it's worth it. That dry, harsh handling feeling that makes you feel like your *** is absorbing every grain of the freeway pavement is probably mostly due to worn out bushings. If there's really odd sounds coming from particular wheels, make sure its not a bearing problem or something though.

and if you're running stock suspension, you may want to think about upgrading if you're not completely satisfied with what a new bushing kit changes for you. Old suspension doesn't dampen like new suspension does.
