Unhappy Loss of power for split second under excelleration

93 TT I installed a Greddy Power Extreme exhaust cat back my only mod that i have done. After i did this i seem to have a split second loss of power under heavy axcelleration. I am get a good boost pattern 10-8-12 I think? I will be installing a down pipe this week which will be my second mod. Will this help? IS this a over boost? Still have stock air box i will be repalcing this as soon as some more fund become availble.

You really should search on this, but at what RPM does this occur? There is a grounding issue that can exacerbate the 3k hesitation that sometimes occurs.
However according to the shop manual there are various reasons this type of thing can occur.

If it is happening ABOVE 4500rpm (ie after second turbo comes online) it may be boost cut (approx 12.5psi) - you may need to add a boost controller or reduce boost by putting larger pills in the boost control lines.
