Hey pepole im looking for this thing to check for a leak that i cantnoe find please help if you can, i want to be able to run fuel without the car being on and i dont know where this wire is in the 3rd gen thanks for your help

 

you can jump the F/P connector and the GND connector in the diagnostics box to turn it on. The key has to be on also.

 

You're thinking about a 2nd gen - the 2nd gen has a yellow plug that you jumper. On the 3rd gen, you jumper the F/P and GND connector in the diagnostic box under the hood. Then turn the key to On without starting the engine, and the pump will run.

with the aeromotive fuel regulator it will run until it gets to the basepressure and then it will cut off and the pressure will drop. If you dont find the leak right away leave the key in the on position and keep taking one end of the wire off of those 2 spots and then putting it back. This will keep giving the basepressure over and over. Its the same thing as turning the key to the on position over and over but you can be in the engine bay and looking for leaks with the diagnostics box method.
