^ LOL...he is right though, go on google and search and you should find them in the $120 price range, I think that may be shipped price. And of course get all your retrofit stuff at the retrofitsource.com. Here's this also if you need any more information http://www.norotors.com/index.php?topic=3400.0.

A lot of those sites will list them for sale and in stock, but when you actually order or call you'll find out they're waiting on a shipment or on backorder as well... We know from experience lol. The clear lens housings are not easy to come by. You may want to post a WTB in the FS section. It's possible someone has a spare set laying around they're not going to use. The stock headlight housings have more room to work in if you feel like sanding and polishing the factory fluted lenses, but that requires a ton of work/time. Good luck with the retrofit
We still have a few sets of complete bi-xenon HID headlights in stock for anyone interested

Spoken from a man with experience and knowledge. I missed the last batch bought a set on Ebay turns out they sold over 200 with no inventory. I created three WTB ads on the forum in different areas just waiting for someone to bite now. I tried to polish out the stock lenses and it's way more work then I thought... Heath offered me a killer deal it's just the wrong time trying to get my car going for SS.

We will be releasing a more wallet friendly version of our lights in the near future that will use a different projector, we're calling them the Silverlines. The Silverlines will be offered in addition to our current lights. While the more affordable version will not provide the same lighting as our standard lights they'll still be quite good and definitely comparable. We realize some people want better lighting than stock, but can't justify spending close to 1k on headlights, so we came up with a solution that should work well for most.

I got a set off of ebay a while back. If you keep them as is, get ready to **** off other drivers with your glare. JDM = Other side of the road and crappy cut-off for LHD cars.
I ended up selling mine and putting my stock lights back in. I'd be all over a set of SBG lights, but a thousand bucks is hard to justify on headlights when other gremlins keep popping up on your 20 year old car. I understand 100% what Dan is saying about labor for a custom product like that and Sakebomb's reputation speaks for itself, but it's still tough to cough up the money when other **** keeps...aging.
I can't wait to see the Silverlines! They sound right up my alley.

I guess I was lucky when I sourced mine from a forum member, but I still had the option to buy them from another site in stock as far as I know. I did the retrofit a couple of months ago using Philips 85122+ bulbs and morimoto ballast and projectors. Was going to upgrade the lens also, but waiting on that. My cutoff is alright, could probably tweak it a little better to get the perfect line, but it's close. light output is better than my 06 Acura TL projectors. I think everything ran me close to $500, but that is pretty cheap considering the bulbs are about 80 bucks.
I think SBG has a good kit, and while they are on the more expensive side to me, you have to also consider the labor that goes into them and also knowing your getting a good product. Only problem I have is when I get on bumpy roads and my car looks like it's strobing at some points, but I have came to the conclusion it's because they are pop-up headlights and also was told it could be worn out bushing in the headlight housing area. Smooth roads it's perfect. Good luck on your retrofit and make sure to post some pictures.

Depending on how stiff your suspension is there will be shaking/rattling regardless. The halogen lights do the same thing it's just less apparent because there's no visible cutoff.

You won't find any of these in the states you guys, we work directly with spyder and absorb every set of lights as soon as they hit shores in the container. These other ebay sellers pull inventory from spyder and we get as many as come in to use in our retrofits. We're always at a loss for projectors, the factory simply can not or will not produce them in the quantities we need. We don't do this to corner the market or anything, we just literally can not get enough inventory from the only US distributor to fulfill orders and have been working with them on this single headlight housing for nearly 5 years now. Shoot me an email heath@sakebombgarage.com
