looking for a paint code

i've been thinking about what kind of paint I want to put on my fd, and the other day I saw mazda cx-9 with something that I thought was awesome.

not sure what year it was but it looked pretty new. it was black, but in the sunlight it shimmered a slight gold flake.

does anyone know the colour I'm talking about or where I can find the paint code?

I looked at Mazdausa.com, then CX-9, then Colors

Choices for black;

a.Brilliant Black Clearcoat
b.Sparkling Black Mica

As for the paint code, don't know.

You could simply call up the dealer?

I'm trying to avoid calling a dealer if possible for two reasons;

1. there's no mazda dealer in my city so it'll have to be a long distance call (that's just me being cheap)
2. I know exactly what's going to happen if I call, I'll end up getting some dumb *** who can't comprehend what I'm asking for and will end up being a waste of time.

if I could conveniently walk into a mazda dealer that would be ideal, but no such luck, hence asking here.

Brilliant Black is the stock FD black.

Mica colors are the color changing ones. So I think you have a name for your color.

Put in the year, make, and model and you'll get color samples and paint codes.
