Stock 5spd FD = 4.10
Auto FD = 3.90
FD in Japan = 4.33 (some models, not sure if all have 4.33 gears)
Aftermarket = 4.77

3.90s on a 5spd car will reduce acceleration.

The stock rear end for manual cars is already 4.10:1. The stock rear end for auto cars is already 3.9:1.
