if you're overheating it might get you to a safe location assuming you still have fluid in it.

if your overheating with a rotary motor i suggest you pull over asap otherwise them seals are gone.. i dont think the water mister will do a thing.. anyway i found some good sites with water spray contollers and fan controllers.. a fan controller is something every FD owner should have.

He's wanting to use this on his "intercooler" to help lower air temperatures, not to cool his radiator.

This thread has re motivated me to install my IC sprayer. I might try to hook mine up this weekend. I will be using a spare rear wiper reservoir w/ intergarted pump and some Home depot mister(s). I just have to figure out where and how to mount the rear wiper tank/pump.
I wil probably just hook it up to an OEM center panel switch, next to the fog light switch. If I can get it done. I'll post pics and observed results.

i would deffinetely install it if you have it, if not sell it to me lol just kidding.. what ever you can do to lower temperature on a rotary is a good thing. even though its only the intercooler its still lowering the temp. lowering the temp of the water, oil and air is a good start to adding some life to your motor and we all know the cost of a good rebuild. i just spent almost 10K$ on my motor
