Looking to buy 3rd Gen...have Q's

Hello all,

This looks like a good place to start my journey, and I have a few questions I hope some of you will have time to answer.

1. What 3rd Gen "model" is the twin turbo?

2. What is the stock power output of the twin turbo 3rd Gen?

3. Is there a 3rd Gen model with a single turbo?

4. Do all 3rd Gen turbo cars come with limited slid diff?

5. Out of the "reasonably attainable" RX7's sold in the US is the fastest/best power to weight ratio?

Thanks for your time,

CK

In #5 I was wondering if there were certain models that happened to be lighter, thus using the available power better, such as the different packages of the 350z.

bloat accessories and leather don't make for good speed as well as a clean car with a nice set of recaro's =)

I thought they had more power than that but with stage 3 kits yielding 300+ horsepower (I think at the wheels?) for under $4,000 It's still a sweet platform.

One more thing, curb weight?

Thanks much for your quick response.

So I guess what I am looking for is a 1993 R1.

5. Well they weigh ~2800 pounds but it depends on model
You could find a few for sale with over 300 rwhp which makes it a 12 second car or faster depending on hp.

You asked some really simple and general questions.
annoying and tough to give a good answer
