You're in the wrong section, son. I'm sure it was an honest mistake. Try one of these links.

Our cars are getting to the age where younger generations can find them for a good cheap price as their first car. However, I would highly encourage you to do some more research on RX-7's. They are a very high maintenance cars; which is why some of us own them, but for a new driver you're getting into something way over your head.
Determine the amount of money you want to spend on a FD, then add about $5k to that, and you should have a decent daily driver. Next, make sure you have a good part time job, or serious funding from your parents for gas.
Good luck man.

Yeah... an FD is not the best choice in a first car. This is mainly because, like others above have mentioned, they are Expensive to own, and expensive to maintain, oh, and they are very high maintenance, ESPECIALLY if you are looking for a cheap one (which means you will probably go the cheap route in parts, our car's get very touchy about that). Then there is also the fact that this is your first car, nothing against you personally, but you will probably trash it. The reason I say this is that first car's are the ones which you learn on. You will go through all your trial and error learning in this thing. That is not good. ESPECIALLY not good since cops will take much more notice of you driving around in this than some other, random, dime a dozen car. If you make stupid mistakes and nobody notices, you get away with them. If you make stupid mistakes and everybody notices, you're screwed. If you get an FD you can almost guarantee you'll have several tickets in the first two years, promise. That is NOT something which is easy to live down. I know. These cars just go too fast, too easily.
Do you *really* want to have to wait until you're 25 to pay less than $200 a month on insurance?
If you're bound and determined to have an FD at 16 I would *highly* suggest you have another car as well, something to beat around in and make all your mistakes in, save the 7 for a beautiful day/weekend when you wanna get that girl in class all the jocks want, and take her for a drive. Hell, I'd suggest a second car to every FD owner just for the insurance discount (multiple car discount ftw!) and the amount of money you'll save a month on gas.
I would look into something like a 4th Gen Prelude if you want a decent looking car with a little kick to it, or a 240sx if you want something rear wheel drive.
