look what I found in my exhaust

What the hell is it? I took my silencer out and there it was. It looks like insulation, like little minature peices of fiberglass. Its about a foot long and real thin. Could this be a seal of some sort? I dont have a precat or main cat.
Also my boost has not been normal lately, it tops out and then drops 3 psi. "non sequential" Also when in the boost Ive been hearing a loud hiss... Anybody have a idea??????????

maybe a cat's tail

Looks like a cat was in your engine bay when you started your car. And the tail got pulled off by your belts, and then got thrown into your intake. After it went through your engine, it got stuck in your pipes.

I would hat to see how pissed off that cat is at you right now. LOL

What sort of exhaust are you running? Could it be a piece of sound deadening material say from a muffler or resonator?
