Talking Drops of oil( pain in the butt pls) help !

hi guys for a while now i have been dropping oil from my fd its a

problem now as my drv way looks like **** and im pissed off at that

cause i use to have a major problem with my old t2.anyways it

of course drops oil after i drv it when i park and move car i can see

3 drops in a row going side ways.

what can it be i think its the oil meter level cause my oil gauge

drv me crazy somethimes it drops down below and shuts off for a while

and a fellow rotorhead told me that was the case but can that also

be the case of oil on the floor?

I Have that problem too, couple drops here and there, I think it may be a leaky oil pan gasket, But I heard its a bitch to install, b/c you have to remove a load of bolts, plus its a good 4-5 hrs for a shop to do..

could be coming from the turbos or the oil supply line.

Yeah I have the same problem too. Little drops here and there. I have to rebuild my turbos soon, even though i've been telling myself that for a year now, because they are smoking. I didn't drive the car for 3 weeks and I drove I took it for a drive this weekend I can smell it, or sometimes I am at a stop and I see smoke coming out from underneath the front of the car. I figured it was the turbos becuase when I check the oil it is fine, have any of you had that problem with the smoke coming out the front end?

Hi:
I have this problem with my FD3. I check it might be leaking in the oil pipe from the turbo to the oil pan. The oil pipe line gasket has been change and the oil pan gasket change too but still leaking. I don't know.

I had about three oil leaks fixed last fall. You can probably rule out the turbo oil lines. If it's leaking from there, it will usually be more than just a drop or two. When mine leaked, it was a mild river under the car.

After that, I had the gaskets replaced on the intake manifold and the oil pan resealed. Since then, I've been drop free.
