A little info please

Hi all, im new to this forum and i was wondering if i could get a little insight on rx7's. Im in the process of buying one but i havnt fully completed the transation. i was wonder if you guys could give me your opions on these cars, manly on reliablity.
First, i love these, the look, and the performance. But im sure as you all know, most people would call these cars unreliable, more so because of the prevuse onwers i understand.
The car im looking at is an 93, with all new ceramic apex seels, refaced rotors, and all new gaskets and seals. The car has onyl 39000 miles and 2900 miles sense the mods. Plus all this work was done by the Rotary doctor in Springfield MO. Whats great is this guy is *** deep in debt and only selling for 9900. I was wondering if this was good deal and could be used as daily driver. But for insurence i was going to keep my current car at least for a year.

Doing the reliability mods and reoutine maintnence outlined in the FAQ on this forum will go a long way towards having the car last.

As for daily drivability, the car is 14 years old and as such a lot of things break on it. These parts aren't cheap to replace either. It really depends on your bankroll. You have to be ready to replace anything and everything on the car. Even if the motor doesn't blow, you could spend a fortune fixing non motor related issues.

As well they get 10-15MPG and there's largely nothing you can do about it.
