Cool Little boys love FD's!

Driving to my gf's a couple nights ago I come upon four boys about 6 or 7 playing outside. They see me coming from a block away and two of them immediately begin jumping up and down while pointing at the car with the most excited look on their faces; you'd have thought the ice cream truck was giving away free ice cream. I wasn't traveling fast in the neighborhood but banged off two double clutch downshifts as I pulled into the drive. I finally laughed when one of them yelled "floor it!" as I pulled into the driveway. Apparently he wished to see me rocket through the house

I remember being that little and seeing a cool car go by; it was an exerience. Then you went to school and got in trouble for drawing car pictures in class. Maybe the next generation will still admire the FD

Thats pretty good, You should have floored it just for ***** and giggles. You could have given yourself a "custom" front bumper and hood.

hehehe... exactly the same thing happened to me last week.
Coming to a busy intersection in rich Chicago suburb and these 2 boys about the age of 10-12 stared at my car wide-mouthed. Then one of them said "floor it", the other cheered too. Too bad cops are all over the area(one of them gave me a ticket for loud exhaust).

It works good on little girls. I go to the playgrounds in my FD and tell them, "come here little girl, daddy has some candy."
Works like a charm everytime.

Haha.. I love those questions from older people.. I get them all the time. like "Could you beat a vette?" I always tell them yes and they say, "AAAWWWW No WAAAYY!!!" Hell, I do well against Vipers.. Altitude, the great equalizer.... Oh, and some drivers of fast cars SUCK, so maybe I'm just only racing them.... hehehe

hahahahahahaha

after work yesterday some kids were sittin there by the warehouse qawking at my car, pulled out and had to get out and lock the gate, they asked a million questions in like 2 minutes... 'what kind of car/how fast/what year/how much for insurance/how old are you/can i have it, it's my birthday tomorrow (smiled at that one)/do a burnout, smoke the tires!!!' so i gave them a little show leaving....looks like i'm not gonna drive the FD down to work anymore, these kids were climbing over the fence when we pulled up, don't really feel safe....

The first test drive I took my car for a couple kids probably 10'ish yelled "Nice car" at me and told me to do a burnout. Not really a big deal, but it was pretty cool getting props the first 5 mins of driving it.

I live in a neighborhood with lots of kids, everytime I cruise down the street they all turn and stare, usually a "nice car" comments is heard over the exhaust. Mind you I drive down my street probably 4 times a week (during daylight hours anyway) and EVERYTIME the kids drop what they are doing and stare/cheer as I cruise by.

makes you feel good...doesn't it!

heheh, last night I stopped at a BP to get smokes (never gas from them), a totally hot, well dressed young lady (18ish probably) with her "date" were in line in front of me buying beer (probably with a fake ID).

I'm wearing my grubby oil covered jeans, flannel shirt & ball cap, she looks at me, I smile and she turns her head and shoves her nose up..."with a took good for you look" as she steps closer to her preppy "date".

So they walk out, I quickly get my smokes and head out to the car. I find her out gawking over the car while her "date" waits for her in the car. As I walk up to get in the car she finishes gawking and hops in the car with her "date", then looks over and gives me one of the sexiest "I wana f*ck you in the front seat of the sexy machine NOW looks I've ever seen..."

makes you feel even better....

I've had that happen before except without the boyfriend part. I got the "I'm too good for you look." And after she saw me get into the car, and gave me the "I've changed my mind, and now want you" look, I replied with a "Why don't you go **** yourself, you materialistic *****" look.

I pulled up in front of my apartment one time where two kids were, probably about 7 or 8. The first one asks if its a viper, and then i tell him, no its an rx7 and its much faster than a viper and the other, who looks a little younger says i told you so. I thought it was pretty entertaining.

You should have seen the block party that went on when I bought the FD. My little brother was 8 and my sister was 10, and all their little friends came over to see the new ride

100 or so HP later, I take my GF's little cuz out. He's 10. He then went home and bashed on his brother. His brother has a BPU Civic He told me "The civic use to feel fast. Now it feels slower than my lawnmower"

Kids are great...

I teach 5th grade... and almost every single day my kids run up to the fence in front of the fence and watch me pull into my parking slot. From the very first day of school, I teach my kids that the car i drive is a MAZDA RX-7. And that it doesn't have piston, but rather a two rotors (not that they understand that concept yet). The little clowns of my class try to tell me that his car and that car can beat me. And all I do is respond... "nope... there's no car in the world as fast as mine!" HAHAHA Kids are great I tell ya... they hang off your every word!
