what is the little black box for, thats mounted to my ecu and has one harness running to it? 93 touring

I believe it is part of the radiator fan control system.

I've only had my Fd 5 months, but i love how finicky it is, like a women. I also believe it is SACRILEGIOUS to shove a LS1 in her,and im a die hard GM man. I'm on my 3rd vette and owned 2 trans-ams, so why engine swap? just buy a Z-28 or older vette !!
