Question linear stock temp gauge

I could've sworn I read a while back that you can make the stock temp gauge linear. I searched the archives and couldn't find anything on it. Is it possible to do this or did I dream it up?

to see how bad it is. I'm looking for the linearization pdf file. You can do this, and it's not hard, and it does work, and it's worth doing.
