Question lightweight sunroof panel replacement?

I'd like to remove the power sunroof ('93 touring) as I'd like a bit more headroom (with helmet on) and the weight loss wouldn't hurt either. A popup plexiglass moonroof would be cool but a solid panel would be fine also.

I swear I remember seeing one that followed the contours of the roof exactly but I could have been smokin. I'm trying to avoid the generic leaky/noisy stuff if possible. I've heard that welding in the panel from the original sunroof is expensive (I can't weld) but any ideas are welcome...
