Lights(taillights and meters) wont work

I have a problem with my 93 FD. When i turn the lights on, the meters and taillights should go on but they dont. I have checked all fuses and they are intact. I dont know where to start, can somebody help me? I dont have the money to leave the car to a workshop so they can look at it for a couple of days.

I really need help on this one!

you most likely blew one of the fuse in the driver side footwell, replace it and if it blows again then you have a short. i had the same problem, mine was located in the driverside fender towards the front bumper.
