Both plates are taken if you're getting Va plates.

Not to be rude, but if your going to do a custom plate be more original. Those are like putting a giant MAZDA sticker on the windshield. It's obvious what the car is. Of those, I'd go with #2 though.

Actually, either plate is original, by state anyway. Most people do not recognized FD's as Mazda RX-7's. A lot people are not familiar with the RX-7 name and plus our cars have the old Mazda logo.

There's not a day that goes by that someone doesn't stop and ask me about my car's make and model.

I like #1.

Dude, we had a 7 meet at Awful Arthur's today on General Booth Blvd. Sorry we didn't see you. We had 3 FD's, 2 8's, an FC and an NSX show up. The NSX owner has a broken FC. The owner of Awful Arthur's has an flaming 8.

I vote #2. I thought about "RX BOX" for my car, which video gamers might think is kinda cool, but every one else would be like "rocks box?". You could copy my "sayonara" if ya want, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're not capable of whooping *** on every one who's gonna rev at you.

Yeah, i'm really tired of trying to explain to ppl what my car is. Hence the reason why my plates read 94 FD3S. Of course, they have to figure out what FD3S stands for.

Actually I went for the geek plate, "JAVA-XML". Though I've been thinking about changing it to "MY FD3S".

hard to say...
If I had to vote: #1.

I have been thinking of one, something Louisiana.... For those of you who don't know we here use 'eaux' in place of the letter 'o' on just about anything. Such as Geaux Saints or Geaux Tigers....

I was thinking... TRBEAUX....

I also was gonna do TAHEAUX for my wifes SUV, but ended up getting the Yukon so that's out.

Here's one from a 7 here in New Orleans (or at least used to be here)

get a plate that says "vette" since so many corvette owners think thats exactly what these cars are from a distance. but of the 2, i'd get the 1st. actually I was contemplting getting the 1st until i read this thread.
