I think everyone that knows better just refers to the bumper as 'urethane', to save to confusion if one was to say pp, tpo, etc.

Is the plastics symbol on the 93 bumper? I know it's not on the '99 - I looked (didn't I ask you too Flybye, when you were selling your '99 bumper?). The '99 lip is pp though - that's on there.

this kid i know used to work at the mazda dealership about 5 years ago. he said he used to take out the cars after he worked on them and race them until the light came on.

 

Ah-HAH! You guys are all wrong, the correct answer is 8.5kg/cm^2. I have to go back home and drag out my version of the shop manual though cause my digitized version doesn't seem to have the info.

 

My exhaust system actually caught the car on fire right where that overheat thing is. It didn't even light up. It just started smoking and caught on fire.

Now I have a one of those fire extinguishers mounted in my car (don't worry, not in my window or anything). Ever since, when I see a rice-dog, I tell em' that its a bottle of nos and there is more under the passenger seat.

 

Then only time I saw my overheat exhaust light come on was when my car ran out of gas and I tried to start it again, the light then came on.

 

Yeah ok, but I still haven't really heard anyone light it up, the person who said the mazda employee used to do it, I don't think so. To tell you the truth I've seen a cat catch on fire, non-stock, which actual flames coming out the sides so I don't see that happening. So my conclusion is that it's a bullshit warning, even though it has it's sensor under the carpet. One more question then, since it has it's own sensor and all that, then how does the PowerFC have the capability the bypass it and use it for a check light? Hmmmm? Last but not least when I said a million, I didn't specify which currency so I chose the Turkish lire, so that comes out to like 5bucks which you still won't get! Ha!

 

I think the little doors above the taillights provide access to some water drains. The drains are there to catch runoff from the seam between the hatch and the body. You have to keep them from clogging up.
