Let them borrow your car lol

I saw this on a different forum not sure if it was posted here yet, F&F 2 casting call for your car, what no RX-7
I thought the part about your car might be painted or changed was kinda funny. You let them rent your Red FD and it comes back lime green oh how happy are you going to be. lol

It's funny how they paid about $25,000 in fees to most of the people on part 1 for renting their cars... Why don't they just buy used cars?

Don't you think that's a little ridiculous?

For one, a '93 Supra TT in decent shape goes about 20k ~ 25k... And an FD probably around 12k ~ 18k...

Wouldn't they save some money buying instead?

Dumbasses...

It also says:

2) Pay rate has not been announced...we've learned that cars in part 1 were paid $100 per day, plus were paid to restore their cars...the average car owner made $25,000 in fees
3) Your car WILL BE insured by the studio...it will NOT be used for stunts
11) After the movie, they may opt to buy your car outright, rent it again for promotional appearances, etc.
Seems like you could take a car that looked nice, but wasn't mechanically in the greatest shape and turn a very nice profit on it.

Maybe a good way for someone that owns a Supra or something junky like that to get themselves a nice FD.

There are advantages of having them borrow your car.

1. Bragging rights....

2. Will be immortalized in cinema history...

Just think when you are 70yo and talking to your great
grand kids.. Tell them how your car was in a movie and etc. Kid say " grandpa" stop lying. haha Then you POP
in the tape..

IMO I wouldn't mind them borrowing my car. I do need a paint Job. **** for $25K, i'll buy another FD3S and keep
the one borrowed in The MOVIE as a momento...But
to bad i am on the Right coast, and my FD3S not Kitted
enough for them to use..
