Hey!! Im ready to do the silicone switchover since my car is now collecting dust for the time being. I've seen on many different sites, that advertise 3mm, then other sites offring 4 mm. then i see some places that offer it in 10 ft of hose. other places get as much as 30 ft of hose. I personally ordered a hose kit from a local speedshop, and i got a kit made by R.S. Akimoto.

The kit includes: 10 ft of 3mm, 5 ft of 6mm, and 2 ft of 10 mm.

Am i going to need more of the 3mm? Or will i need more of anything else? Or will i pretty much be set on hose for the swap? Thanks in advance.

 

Arrrgh, i found the numbers. 35 ft of 4mm, and 10 ft of 6mm. and after reading rob robinettes site, he said tripoint quoted $500. The quote on the sites seems that price is low. . .from how i understood it.

Is the price supposed to be higher than that? 2 different speedshops near me quoted roughly $275. How much did you guys pay for your hose job?
