Exclamation Leaking Differential

When I was installing my exhaust last week, me and a friend noticed that my rear differential was leaking at the bottom. I didnt have much time to really check it out....lately my clutch has been slipping really badly, where I can not use more than 1/8th throttle or go over 3500 RPM without the clutch slipping and have the revs go high without me moving anywhere. I'm planning to replace the clutch with an ACT Street Spec within the week and hoping that it will cure the clutch slippage. Im not too sure what to be looking out for with the leaky diff.

Is my slipping clutch just a simple case of a worn out clutch, or something a little more sinister?

Im hoping that nothing in the diff is broken. Suggestions?

Im gonna swap out the tranny and diff fluids to see if it will help

same ****

I took mine to my non mazda mechanic and all he did was re-seal it with some silicone. He told me that mazda wanted $70 for the silicone so he used another brand. What mazda part number are you refering to?

Thanks for the responses guys, i'm picking up the ACT clutch kit (ZX3-HD00) in a few days and will be waiting on the new seals from Mazda. Any idea on how difficult the install is for the differential side seals?
