leak into glove box?

I put my new registration paperwork into my glovebox today and....everything is friggin' SOAKED in there!
Trying to figure it out, assume it is something with the A/C system.

Heater core or hose is busted behind that glove box. Or you have a windshield leakage above the glovebox compartment.

Does it smell like coolant or water? Coolant = heater core or hose busted. Water, you might be having a water leakage.

The heater core is more towards the center off the dash. The only thing behind the glove box is the AC components. Even if the drain hose was clogged and the water were to leak out the box it wouldn't leak into your glove box. Put a dry towel in the glove box and wash your car that way you can rule the wind sheild out. Do the same and blast the AC.

Yeah....I mean...there is NOTHING up near there, like a hose or whatever. I checked. Nothing. Just a steel crossmember and the a/c duct to the passenger air outlet. I am leaning a bit towards a leak in the windshield, now.

Keep us posted on what you ultimately find, but a windshield leak would be actually be preferred over alternatives IMO. A good shop can remove and re-seal it with new and probably better material than OEM.
I also hate working under the dash. My back can't take it anymore.

i had something similar to this, turned out to be the drain holes for the water that runs off the windscreen were blocked with leaves.
