Leading and Trailing coils firing at same time? Any suggestions?

Ok, just rebuilt my motor and dropped it in. Trying to tune it but it's detonating under 10 lbs of boost. Checked timing with a timing gun and noticed the leading and trailing are firing at the same time. Any idea's of what could have happened? On the old motor we didn't have any isssues.

I do have a MSD6AL(really a SCI but same thing) with the MSD 2step with 2nd gen leading coils.

Thanks

From what I know the timing is controlled by the ECU. I do not know how you would go about changing it any other way.

You can look at this thread...

Maybe that can help?

The stock ignition fires both leading plugs at the same time. Not sure how your MSD is hooked up, but that may explain what you're seeing.
