I will definetly buy one if you can make one with two spots for profecb spec 2 size (1/4 din) units and one 52mm guage.

They're Autometer Sport Comps----if I remember right they are 2 1/16". They were the smallest ones I could find at the time, and there isn't a whole lot of room to go much bigger.

I saw some of the new Cobalt gauges and they look pretty good.....I might just swap those in if I decide the blue doesn't look that bad. I really like the new needles on those----not as cheap looking. I need to trash that worthless air/fuel gauge for a fuel pressure gauge anyway......

I have someone volunteering for the test so I will post how it will come out and show some pics. However My catch for this is to sell individuality lazer engraved names or logos... I will show some pics of that as well..... hehehehe...
Stay tuned....
Great idea and a great opportunity for the people who don't want to have that hedache "will it fit or work" just throw it in and enjoy, plus I like the laser engravement idea alot.

Best of luck...

Thumbs up Updates on the lazer cut Center Console Plates...

Ok... I just did a test fitment on an FD who vollenteered for it and the fitment is totally perfect!!~~ just like OEM. There was no too small or too big situation on the fitment... its perfect...
I also belive lazer engravement can only be achieved toward the two hole guage plates because of the space around it. Like I said for Custom work I can also engrave your name or something like that...
The 52mm guages fit perfectly too.... they are not too loose like... some guage pods where when you launch real hard the guages start poping out...
I will show you guys an example of the engravement tommorrow with an efini logo plus some name....
and I'm wondering are you guys interested in purchasing this???
I will make in bulk if nessesary...
but here are the pics and enjoy~~~

Thanks

i think if they were like smoke tinted or black tinted they would look alot better because you can see all the "ugly" stuff behind it if you dont. other wise i like it how much?

I was thinking the same thing. The idea of the smoke or tinted acrylic would be sweet.

Nonono....
This is just a test fit... I cut it clear to see how it fits.... I'm not going to manufacture like this...hahahahhaa. I'm just saying these parts are a prototype for fitment. The manufactured one will definetally be black plastic or smoke...
so~~ chill~~~~~ and there are more to come.

RXASSASIN7 ,THE PRICE HAS ALREADY BEEN POSTED IN THIS THREAD! You really need to read more carefully.

In the time that you spent writing your 'don't be a dick" reply, you could have found the price yourself. You are wasting forum space and money with your ignorance and laziness. I'll give you a hint: akiratdk was the one who wrote what the price would be. He's only made ten or so posts in this thread, it shouldn't be hard to read them all carefully.

It's nobody's job to spoon-feed you, so quit whining like a baby.

Great idea! Very nice. Mount some clips on the sides to hold it in place or something also. Id be interested in something like RXASSASIN7's idea except without the top hole where it says boost controller. That top part would be a good place to engrave the efini logo. Let us know when you want to take orders.

Hey guys~~~ The price is $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20 $20...... shipped to your door with any design you want. I will be making final prototyped today so stay tuned....
And the mounting will be done with 3M industrial strength double sided tape.... the one they use in the automotive industry.... Me and my friend Roman who has an FD figured that this will work best because there is a good surface area for adheision.
