Last question, I swear (oil problem)

I posted before about how I am getting smoke at WOT, well, I found out its not acctually at WOT its immediately AFTER during deacceleration. So for instance I hammer on it to 6k or so, turbos boost fine, I let off the gas and clouds of smoke come from under my car and from my tailpipe. More of it is coming from underneath my car. Also, talk about eating oil. It is nearly eating a quart every two days (30-40 miles per day)!!!! I put 5w in so it wouldn't foul the plugs as fast, but I have a feeling they aren't going to make it to the end of the week. Could it have anything to do with the turbo flapper that is wired open for non-seq? I apologize again for the plethora of questions lately. I just feel my car is very close to running RIGHT for the first time in the year I've owned it.

I think it might be your turbos. But i'm not 100% sure. When mine went bad, I had smoke when idling, wot, etc.

But they were really bad

Sounds like your turbos are spewing oil. Check everywhere for a leak, all hoses, intercooler pipes, ect. Im sure you need new turbos. If your poor, buy a used set from the parts fourm. Usually pretty cheap, like a couple 100..

Yeah, I think I am going to have to do that. I was saving for a single, but just not gon'a happen for a while. Oh well....I've noticed my idle seems a little high also, around 1200 RPM under load, and like 1300 without load, the weird thing is...it runs shaky with the lights off (1300 RPM) the second i turn them on it smooths right out at 1200 RPM.

Hmmm

sounds like classic turbo smoke to me,,,,,,the seals inside the turbo hold under boost but when you back off the throttle ,oil starts to pass them down the exaust,,,
when they get really bad,,,,it will smoke all the time

could rebuild them with a rebuild kit,,,,is easy peasy
