FDNEWBIE aka. Ramy is very well known on this forum. I have meet with him personally, when he was in town for the weekend. I showed him my shop, stopped by A-spec, and then we organized small meet at the streets of woodfield. I will vouch for him as a very stand up guy. Not to sure why you want to know who he is, but if you are looking for some OG recaros he would be the person to contact.

Here is jis new web sight

yes, this is the car some jerk stole the super expensive carbon kevlar recaros out of. i am pretty sure they ordered replacements and wound up spending like 12 grand or something rediculous.

Nice that my car's picture is being placed on this forum without my permission
that car was posted on this fourm without your permission because i got permission from the guy that assembled it. I used to work at the shop where this car was assembled and one of my good buddies is the one i got the pictures from. and yes, this is the one the super expensive carbon kevlar recaros were stolen out of. the guy you have in your pictures is Adam. He let me drive his lotus elise when i worked down there. sorry for any problems this might couse on this forum, but i thought everyone would enjoyy this.

Needless to say, any help on this would be appreciated..

I don't know what your trying to grab at here, but I def think you are going in the wrong direction by looking into fdnewbie's affiliation with your missing seats. He is a very stand up guy who imports a **** load of rare rx7 parts. His web site obviously reflects this. I know your up set about your loss and I don't blame you. Anyone who loses something like that would be, but why are you so upset about the posting of the pictures? That is an amazing vehicle you own, and would be great if you stared some of it's beauty with the rest of us. I honestly did't know it was a crime to post a picture of someones car on the internet w/o the owners approval. People take pics of others cars all the time at car shows etc and post them up.....right???

Goodluck with your search and I hope you find the real thief. It is probally some punk kid that works on the docks and drives a civic. Didn't know what that car really was, but saw some cool seats and thought he could get a buck or two for them.

Hmm.. maybe I am mistaken, but there was a link that showed 3 pictures of my seats.. one was with the seats OUT of the car.. the other 2 with the seats IN the car.. I know it is my car because of the small details that I can see in the photos as compared to my car as it sits in my garage... and these were the seats that were evidently for sale back in April?.. not to mention that these seats have not been sent to the United States PERIOD, according to the Miami-Dade cop/investigator... and anyone who has them is in possession of contraband... at this point, after reading all my emails and searching through this website and learning about the journey that my car took, I don't give a **** anymore about what anyone else thinks.. needless to say, I am a little pissed right now.. I think I'll take the car for a drive.. maybe that will cheer me up.

from what frank and adam told me, those seats were gone while the car was in the bahamas. since they send the car to the bahamas to have it disassembled some stickey finger thief decided he needed those seats in his rx3 or something. i heard about the car when i worked at the shop and knew it was on its way but i was pissed i missed the opportunity to see it in person. anyway, if you want the pictures removed from this forum just say the word, i will have no problem making them go away.

Well.. GafuMazda.. it's glaringly apparent to me that you do not appreciate the idea of privacy.. how about I take a picture of your "freikin" girlfriend.. or of your "freikin" property and post those pictures... ?..

Grow up, jerk....

I truely wish you luck in finding your seats, but coming on a rx7 enthusiast web site ( many people here could be a great deal of help to your seach for your seats) and being an *** is most likely not the best idea. You should probally should care about what people think about you because I don't think you are going to get to much help acting like a dick.

goodluck with your search,

Thanks for the words of wisdon Joshy.. the use of profanity certainly strenthens your thread.. if you try rereading my thread, and get your head out of your ***, you might come to another conclusion about what I was referring to about.. get a clue *******.... also.. think about why forums exist in the first place, Joshy.

listen there *******,if you dont/didnt want your car here, you wouldve never let the car in sight to begin with. You yourself have pictures of your ******* car on a website. If it bothers you, then take them the hell out, remove yourself kindly from the forum that way you dont waste your prescious time typing away about "BOOHOO YOU TOOK PICTURES OF MY CAR AND POSTED THEM".Privacy?Yea,youre pretty new to the forum scene, arent you?Its not wether you appreciate it or not,its actually how you deal with it,and you,Ma'am,are bleeding way too much!

Im not concerned about you taking pictures of my WIFE,nor my property...you know why?Because im PROUD OF EVERYTHING I OWN AND HAVE!!!

Now,instead of wishing you luck in finding your seats,i wish you a blown engine,a BIGGER dent on your car,and a bigger tampon up your $%@#$!@$%

Good Day.......I SAID GOOD DAY!

LOL.. wow.. struck a nerve with Mr. Gafu.. are you Hispanic?..

.. oh.. and BTW, you might want to consider typing slower.. it lessens the chances of grammatical errors and mistakes.. and as for your wife or property, being proud of them is one thing, but allowing strangers to take pictures of them is somewhat questionable.

Buenos dias, amigo..

This thread is not going to help any one if it gets closed.

I see both sides of this story.

I refrained from posting my picturees that I have of his car. because of his post directly after my first post in this thread.

I personally would like to see this get resolved, athough the time that has elapsed will make this more difficult unless some one gets careless, and slips up. It does seem like people are willing to help, so lets go on that, and stop this name calling.

We all come to this forum to share our passion for the same car. This includes sharing nice examples of other people's car sometimes. You should be flattered, not pompous. Hell, if someone posted my car somewhere I'd be estatic. It's not like he posted your home address or your license plate or even your name. I'm sorry you lost your seats, but it doesn't give you an excuse to give attitude to people here, and start pointing fingers at people who you think may have stolen your seats.

Look bud,
A: Nobody needs permission to take a picture of your car when it's parked in a public place or post it on the internet. You have no rights to that imagery. If people post pictures of your car that YOU took, or someone else took and you paid for exclusive usage right to, then you have an issue.

B. Folks here were trying to HELP you by giving you FDNewbie's (Ramy) name with regard to the Recaro seats. MANY people in the U.S. have imported Mazda/Recaro Spirit R seats. That's just fact. Ramy, among other people, import them... typically used... through legitimate business channels.

We're all very sorry for you having been screwed by an unethical importer, but you're not going to help yourself by accusing others of things without good cause. People here MAY even be able to help you either recover your property, or find an economical way to replace it.

I was about to offer my legal wisdom on that topic but you beat me to it.

Bottom line - you have no rights to those pictures.

i was just trying to give everyone some eye candy. car **** if you will. i didn't get every little detail but i know for a fact from everyone that worked at the shop that the car arrived sans seats. all the guys from the shop i worked at are honest, and as of right now the owner is going through serious health problems. i'm pretty sure the importers (EI) wouldn't have taken them because i know both of them personally. but you never know. if i can help i will but i don't know much about the situation.

well.. opinions are like ********.. everybody has one..

It has cost me a little bit of money getting the car here.. and it took from Aug, 2002 until April, 2006.. and numerous filings, petitions, and conversations with the DOT, NHTSA and EPA...

So.. if I seem a little short on the subject of my car, too ******* bad.. and once again, I have several people here that have sent messages with pictures, phone numbers, names, etc.. about this subject.. (they must be the adults in this forum).. so, quite honestly (or if I am Josh or Mr Gafu, "quiet onistleey".. I am very happy right now with the other 99% of the people and information that I have gleaned today.

My sincerest thanks.. I will keep you informed via emails.

wow, seems like your car has a pretty documented journey. Your seats could be anyway in the us that's the sad thing. I would just say you will have to have the dents professionaly removed, buy a pay of recaro's off of FDNewbie and just be happy. For all you know your seats could of been in a car that got burnt down, no one seems to know. Appearently a lot of poeple knew about your cars journey and everyone wants the series 8 parts. So they could be anywhere. Forgive my english if it's incorrect. Just be happy that you got a sweet car, thats bs that the importer tracked your car though!

you dont need to explain why you posted what you did.All you did was post pictures of a nice car(even though the owner is an *******),only to have the owner come in as blame certain people around here for taking or knowing about his missing seats. No harm done there.

Per my previous post, you need to relax your tone a bit. Nobody gives a squirt about how much money you spent. The dollar amount doesn't give you permission to come in here and bitch about photos you don't own, and then accuse people of things.

Sounds like you ought to be starting with the SOURCE, i.e.: your importer and what you contracted them for. Somebody had responsibility for the car while it was in transit, and I'm sure your contract had some language refering to the quality and completeness of the delivery. If not, I don't know what you spent all that money on.
