large streetport combo with stock exh. ports
I'm rebuilding my engine with mostly new parts (housings and irons).
My irons have been ported with Judge Ito's aggressive streetport (prim and sec's).
What is left are the housings (new). I'm debating with my self to leave them stock or to do mild streetport (Racing beat template) on them.
From a performance point of view I should do this but the mild exh streetport isn't that much bigger than stock. The housings being brand new I'm rather reluctant to 'mod' them. Also with emission test in my country (some extra intake air won't hurt that much).
Any recommendations with regards to this?
Many thanks,
Neal

It really depends on the goals for the car. If you want more high-end power, porting will help (similar to running a larger exhaust system). However, just like enlarging the exhaust, it removes some low-end grunt (you rarely get something for nothing ).
Since you did a large aggressive port on the intake, I would probably go ahead and port the exhaust. If you used a mild port on the intake side, I would say leave the housings alone.
