Land of the Midnight Sun!
Hello from Alaska! Name's Travis... i've been an RX-7 Enthusiast for a while now... however I am a prospective buyer (meaning I'm too broke to buy one now)
I've been reading your forums for a while now and havent posted anything thus far...but today I am changing that. I love the RX-7 3rd Gen to death and everything about it! From the looks, and sounds.. to the challenge of maintaining and upgrading it. I've always been one of those people who likes to learn something new every day, and fix things with my bare hands. Hopefully this will be one of those experiences you can learn from for the rest of your life...
Anyway.. I am currently a college student up here in Alaska, lived for 15 years.. attempting to find a job right now to pay for my addictions! (Cars, beer, and Women in that order)
To me the Rx-7 will be an ongoing project car... I know that I will always have something to work on... and in all honesty, I hope it never stops. I'm one that is easily bored, but not easily detoured.
Back to the forums I go! and hopefully sooner then later... I will be driving around (Or at least at the bank, trying to finance) a Rx-7!
P.S.-I just wanted to let you guys know, that of all the forums I've ever read, cars and otherwise... yours is by FAR the most Helpful, and welcoming that I've seen yet. Keep it up! This place is awsome.
and if you live in Alaska, PM me... we can get together some time and shoot the **** about our beloved Rotary!

Its a nice drive, just beware... the roads are rough in some places, and others completely unpaved! The Alaska Highway is definately an adventure if you enjoy scenery... and not much else haha
