a few horsepower will be the least of your worries when yopu pop your engine with a mp

Snook on this forum went with a midpipe and lives near me and I have a high flow cat and have driven with him He sort of regrets at times he has the mid pipe. It is loud, it smells, and you WILL lose low end although it will scream higher up, no doubt about it.
I like my low end especially since i have a streetport so have already lost some low end. After driving in a mid pipe car before I would never consider changing out my HF cat for a MP. Not for a street daily driver which my FD is (when its between accidents..)

I just changed out a fan on my car.
I have a Fluidyne.
Man that thing is FRAGILE
The fins are already all beat up and honest I was careful. I assume this is probably true for the Koyo too.

It is true for the Koyo..aluminum radiators in general that are out there. Easy to fix with some time and patience though.
I had Snooks set up at one time with the MP and N1 duals. Nice power after the transition and loud as hell! Haven't seen him in Gainesville lately though.

on your koyo DO NOT tighten the radiator plug too tight. it is made different than the stock rx7 plug although it is the same thread. it is actually three pieces. aparently my brother overtightened the drain plug a few weeks before i did the oil change. just by chance i saw green stuff dripping and started to have a heart attack. NE way they are the same size plug just make it snug.
