KOYO RADIATOR Install...

Well, I finally got around to putting it in, and thought I'd give a word or two for anyone who might wanna know how it was...( that hasn't already done it...)

After searching the forum for advice, I decided to do it my self... I learned a lot from this...

After getting all the IC, Intake, Battery and whatever else outa' the way, I took out the PUNY *** stock radiator...

I read that people FLIPPED the radiator mounting brackets to make it fit...(when putting in, the brackets dont reach the mounting studs...so there is no way to lock it down....) But I did it a different way... I tried the FLIPPED way, but my M2 intake didn't fix with it this way... (with the brackets flipped, the RAD sits up at least an inch higher than it should... Plus the thickness)..

What I did was Filed the mounting holes on the brackets... This way, I could have the radiator all the way down, and still reach the mounting studs with the brackets. By adjusting the radiator bracket (VIA the filed hole) I reached the mounting stud, and bolted down the radiator in the STOCK location. The M2 intake fits, and there was NO adjustments made for the AC condenser or anything!!! Sorry I don't have pics, but for anyone who had done the install... I'm sure you can visualize..

Oh, and the Fan MOD is done too. Car runs so COOL now!!!

Thanks for the "search" function... it helped ALOT!!!!
