I am running the fluidyne now and I love it. I am very pleased with the welds and overall quality. Install was very straight-forward and no problems thus far. I haven't had a chance to see the koyo, but from what I hear there isn't much of a difference between the two. I believe the koyo is cheaper, although they are both made of aluminum. A lot of people like the koyo, as I have heard good things about them also. I cannot speak first-hand about the koyo, but I can recomend the fluidyne to you.

I would have to say that the Koyo does not lack anything in quality. The welds on the koyo are VERY good quality. Even polished endcaps. Nice. However big does seem to be an issue, I am going to have to 'rig' something to allow my M2 coldair intake to fit, and (im not sure) it looks as if my M2 SMIC would not fit right now. The stock duct for the IC does not fit right now.

There is almost 2 inches between the AC condencer and the rad. So with an easy mod with will drop in that stock area that will allow everything to fit.

I belive a good thread about the Koyo install was made, im sure a quick search will uncover that.

Anyway I would go koyo again even with the fitting issues, To me rad. bigger is better. And to get bigger for less money is the way to go. Just IMHO

the store at www.rx7.com said this "(if a radiator is too thick, cooling air can not flow through it)."
just wondering if thats true. whos using a koyo with a FMIC and having no cooling problems?

there's other brands to

M2
Mazdacomp
SR Motorsports
AWR <- only brand for Auto's that has trans cooler lines
PWR

Koyo can be a problem with M2 Med or large SMIC

I had no fitment issues with my Fluidyne and it looks like a work of art.
