Knock Sensor Shielding

Previous owner had a fire in the car and the harness was repaired, the repair switched the knock sensor and power steering connectors. Switching back isn't possible as the repair made the distance between sensor and socket too big.
I'm looking to repair it properly and run new wire, I understand that the wire is shielded, but can't find if the shield is actually connected to anything? (I'd assume GND somewhere in the loom?) I know the "sensor end" of the wire, just has a 1 pin connector, and there is only one pin for knock sensor on the ECU

In short, where do I connect the shield for the knock sensor?

it just ties into the ground in the emission harness, lots of the sensors and solenoids share the grounds
the black wire that the shield from the O2 sensor tp be precise- which goes to ground point 5
