"Safe" has more to do with your charge temps and fuel support rather than what the turbos can take.

The problem is that question cannot be answered with a hard and fast rule. The best idea (ignoring fuel support) is to monitor your charge temps. If you begn to push the turbos so much that your charge temps are going crazy, then you are going too far. That could either be an intercooler limit or the turbo limit but once you get there you would have to do that evaluation yourself. There is a point at which turbos generate more heat than power, that's the limit you are basically asking about.

Unfortunately, not many people in the USA have experience with Knightsport turbos (and this forum is predominately US based). So, you might have to do your own experiments to figure out the limit for your individual car.
